Super Sweet Blogging Award

Super Sweet Blogging AwardPotted Plant Society has been nominated on 26 August 2012 at 7:09 AM by Marcella Rousseau (Marcy) for the Super Sweet Blogging Award and won!

Marcy and SoundEagle have neither known each other nor interacted online until she chose to comment on one of the main pages that serves to explain the Potted Plant Society in order to notify SoundEagle of her selecting Potted Plant Society as a winner for the award. What a delightful way to be acquainted and validated!

Nominees and winners are required to observe the three rules and to answer the five questions, as demonstrated by SoundEagle’s responses below.

Super Sweet Rules:

  1. Give credit to the person who chose to nominate you for the award.
  2. Answer the “Super Sweet” questions.
  3. Nominate your own “Baker’s Dozen” (13) blogs to receive the award.

Super Sweet Questions:

  1. Cookies or Cake?
    • That depends on SoundEagle’s mood, whim or the quality of the cookies or cakes.
  2. Chocolate or Vanilla?
    • Chocolate can be eaten alone, not vanilla. But as flavouring ingredients, chocolate is stronger than vanilla. If SoundEagle did not have to choose and could have both, then the choice would be chocolate vanilla ice cream.
  3. What is your favorite sweet treat?
    • Gourmet chocolate or ice cream.
  4. When do you crave sweet things the most?
    • When SoundEagle wants some comfort food and the temptation is nearby.
  5. If you had a sweet nickname, what would it be?
    • Just convert SoundEagle to SweetEagle.

  1. Gee, I was wondering how you got all that done so fast! You’re a pip! Lol! Better barricade your doors, you might have an onslaught Sound, er, SweetEagle. Nicely done. Only one small mistake: Marcella has an “a” at the end of it. I guess I’ll have to take away your award now ; – )

        • OK. I have to go make some English muffins. My dough has been fermenting overnight and it’s ready. Cheerio and enjoy your breakfast!

        • And I shall have not muffins but muesli for breakfast (at Tiffany) with the song and music “Moon River” as the Super Sweet Soundtrack . . . . .

A very good evening to you!

        • Thank you. I saw Henry Mancini perform Moon River many years ago. Enjoy your breakfast and a very good evening to you too!

        • How fortunate of you to have seen the late Henry Mancini and his orchestra live!

I also like the music of Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone. In my possession is Amii Stewart’s CD entitled “Desire” with her singing ten songs by Morricone.

        • Marcy, LinkedIn requires my supplying your email address in order to connect to you. Please let me know what your email address is by using the form at https://pottedplantsociety.wordpress.com/comments/. This way, your email address will not be revealed to the public, but only to me. Thank you.

Alternatively, you could connect to me on LinkedIn instead. 🙂

I have also initiated a Friendship Request on Facebook. Cheers!

        • I tried connecting to you on LinkedIn but I think I needed your email address. I don’t use FB very much. I don’t really like it. I suppose I should have a Page. Actually, I do have a Page but I never completed it. It’s just a pain.I used to use LinkedIn a lot and I have a lot of connections.Maybe someone there could be useful to you?

        • We seem to be already connected on LinkedIn. 🙂

Wow! What credentials you have! I also read your impressive profile at epinions.com.

Given that you like LinkedIn and not Facebook, how do you find epinions.com in comparison? Is it useful and valid to shoppers only?

        • Thank you. LI is a professional networking site; FB is a social networking site; epinions is a comparative shopping site. It’s a totally different animal. If you would like to learn more about epinions, it would be best if we used the chat on FB and not wordpress.

        • Thank you, Marcy, for the information. It is very nice to hear from you. Let us chat on FB later as I am busy blogging at the moment and trying to stave off nature’s call at the same time.

I shall also take a better look at epinions to see whether it is useful and relevant to shoppers outside US, assuming that its scopes are truly international.

        • Sounds good. It’s been a busy day here and I’ve been putting out fires left and right. Some days I can’t get anything done but at least I got up early to go work out. That is always a positive in my day.

        • Good morning to you, Marcy!

It seems to me that you have had a hectic yesterday! Though it is nice to know that you still managed to find time for a workout and to achieve a positive for that day.

I hope that you have slept soundly and waken up to a wonderful morning.

        • Hi SE, This morning I mowed, mulched, and trimmed my red maple and flowering bushes. I still have to mow the back but I’ll do that tomorrow. I’ve got a backlog of over 275 emails to get to so I can’t chat with you and I’ve got an article to publish too. Hope you have a great day!

  3. You could certainly see your enthusiasm in the article you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who aren’t afraid to mention how they believe. At all times go after your heart.
